Things I realize how much I missed when I come back from being out of town:
1. My shower head.
It sounds really stupid, but my shower head is awesome. Not too brutal (so it feels like you're being shot at with rain pellets), not too soft either (as if the shower's weather forecast was a a light drizzle). It's perfect and it's not too spread out either... all the holes are really close together so it's not like you have to maneuver your hand a million which ways to hit the right spot when you're washing soap off your fingers. I really could go on and on about this beautiful invention of the gods, but I won't.
2. My bed.
I just love my bed, and my comforter. The fact that I can enjoy both of these things at the same time when I go to sleep is quite advantageous.
3. My dog. Although, I don't realize this, I know this the second we leave without her to the moment we see her again.
Things I do not miss:
1. The bats.
2. The smell the bats left.
3. Actually cleaning up after myself again.
